[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

What sort of powers and abilities do you guys have?

[ gods offering their services is a little out of the ordinary, magic and special abilities? not so much.]

If you want to be a step up from me, you'll have to try harder than that.

[dothelokimotion]

You did hear that we're gods, correct?

[sheriffing]

I heard you have powers and abilities, so do I. Your label doesn't mean much if that's the qualifier.

[dothelokimotion]

[ It's very hard not to roll his eyes. Mortals apparently gain a power and they think that it matters that much. ]

Then you need to explain yours, so I might know where ours might qualify.

[sheriffing]

You're the one offering services, explain yours.

[ she doesn't magically help unless it's an emergency, thanks.

[dothelokimotion]

Thor is offering services. I am a little more choosy.

[ They all are, no matter how well-intentioned they might seem. Loki isn't in the habit of doing favors. ]

But I suppose I can name a few. I can heal, create objects from objects and spell illusions.

[sheriffing]

You have magic?

[ it's the combination of abilities that has her asking. in her world, there's a blanket term for that.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ He rolls his eyes. ]

Yes. I have magic.

[sheriffing]

Do you have any experience with opening portals?

[ so that she can get the hell out of here. then he'll have one less person to be annoyed by, right? it's a good trade.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ His gaze sharpens slightly. He does not seem irritated with her, however. ]

What you wish to ask, I cannot give. While I can open pathways to other worlds, my magic is restrained in this place. The only portal in and out is the one we came through.

[sheriffing]

What if you had someone to level up with?

[ someone like a savior, for example. it wouldn't be the first time she's done it.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ Pursing his lips, Loki gives it a minute before responding. While having other sources of magic would help, Loki is still stronger than most. Also he can't say how well he would handle foreign magic drawn from unfamiliar sources. ]

Even if I did, I would have to create a portal from sheer magic. I cannot guarantee success.

[sheriffing]

Or, we'd have to find a different method opening a portal.

[ supposedly there's one and that's it - but that's not how it works in her world. why would the rules of portal jumping change here when they didn't in the Enchanted Forest or in Neverland?]

This whole idea of one entry and exit point doesn't make any sense. With the right tools, we should be able to open a portal anywhere.

[dothelokimotion]

[ This is going to make his head hurt, he just knows it. ]

That . . . seems like a terrible idea on multiple levels. Opening portals wherever you like fractures the reality. It lets things bleed through.

And what kind of tools do you even mean?

Asgardians live longer than the average human, we are also far stronger physically and many of us have powers and weapons known only to us.

Thunder and lightning is a particularly specialty of mine. As is hitting things.

[sheriffing]

[finally, a real answer.]

Hitting things is the universal superpower.

[Loki doesn't give real answers, true facts.]

It sounds as if you know a thing or two about powers.

[sheriffing]

[ Loki sounds a hell of a lot like Regina, if she's honest.]

You could say I've been learning - or I was, back home. I have magic.

[worldsaway]

Oh? Then it's a pity Loki is being so obtuse, magic is more his expertise. [Thor shrugs.] What sort of magic is it?

[sheriffing]

Most magic users are like that.

[ Gold, Regina, now Loki. she can't say she's surprised.]

I'm originally from a place called the Enchanted Forest. Most people there are the stuff fairytales are made of. My magic is [ the result of being the product of true love ] - similar.

[worldsaway]

I'm not terribly familiar with fairytales. Not ones from Earth, at least. Is your magic for fighting or illusion? Conjuring, perhaps?

[sheriffing]

Supposedly, if I set my mind to it, it'd be "all of the above".

[worldsaway]

Then you would be extremely formidable, I'm sure. So why have you not set your mind to it?
