[There is a mildly anxious child on the feed, sitting on the edge of the community building roof as she munches down on some potato chips; this child's diet is 1000% on point. But more importantly, she flashes the video feed several stories below toward some of the trees. The little accent is full of confusion:]

They are dying. What are they sick with?

Shouldn't someone do something to save them? ¿Dónde está el jardinero?

[Seriously, nobody seems concerned about the leaves all falling off. Or them turning odd colors.]

There's nothing wrong with the trees. This is their natural course. The leaves change color, they fall, new ones grow in the spring.

[Alec looks at the trees, then the girl who seems to be alternating between worrying and eating potato chips.]

Why do you think the trees are dying?

[ hey look it’s ya boi Star-Lord, frowning at the screen. He’ll totally address the tree thing, but there are more important things to ask. Such as, ]

So, do you, like, naturally find yourself drawn to high places?

Because he’s pretty sure the first time they talked, she was hanging out on a wall. ]

That's normal for trees. They do it every year and then new leaves grow back in the spring.

Have you ever seen fall before?

The trees rest through the colder weather, then give new growth when it stops being as cold. Think of it as sleeping.

You've never seen autumn before, huh?

Global warming.

Blame the humans, it's their fault.

They're not sick. Don't worry.

[ oh hay it's the bitty girl from his birthday party. eating the same thing he saw her eating last time. ]

Would you like something different to eat? You always seem to eat chips...
