video » @LOKIOFASGARD
[ Two very green eyes (wide, without their usual cunning gleam) stare into the camera when the recording goes live, glancing up to the username that appears. Reading it, he mutters 'Loki of Asgard' and frowns, glancing around himself as though somebody else may spring up and claim the phone. When they don't, Loki runs an anxious hand through his hair and lets out a controlled sigh at length, standing awkwardly in his tee and jeans in the Floor Five lounge. ]
This phone I woke up with in my pocket is locked and it won't let me do more than make an emergency call. I know I'm on a moon for some reason, what the fuck, so if this is the local nine-one-one line I'd like some assistance, please.
[ 'Calm under strain' would be an apt description. ]
Such as, ah ... What's Asgard? And, how did I just freeze my bed solid? Because I totally did. [ In a panic when he woke up bewildered, oops. ] I — I'm not sure what to do.
( ooc: forward-dating this to tomorrow bc i work full-time and won't be around; loki is suffering a near-complete memory loss for the event. he doesn't remember who he is, his fam & friends, that he is magic as heck, how to use said magic, or his extensive horrid history. all he knows is that he agreed to come to a moon and once had an apartment in manhattan. )

Staring at Tony with a mix of bewilderment and fascination, his expression eases into a grateful, bashful flush when their foreheads meet and Tony's warm calloused hands frame their world, cutting out the unfamiliar so it is just them. ]
Okay.
[ It's a happy sigh, trusting the earnestness of that kiss and Tony's rampant affections. There has to be a deeper reason for that. And in the back of his mind's eye, Loki sees ... ]
Gold. [ Green eyes unfocus for a moment, fixating on Tony as he murmurs with the stirring of a memory. ] You were painted in gold, in the dark ...

he has always been a terrible romantic, ever since he was a boy. he falls too fast and hits the ground hard, but keeps loving even when he is more than a little bruised. this thing with Loki-- he knows that the god thinks that it is transient, a flicker next to whatever he might potentially have with Steve, but Tony isn't sure about that. the affection that he feels right now for the being before him doesn't feel shallow.
Tony smiles, presses another kiss to the lips that are so close.] Good. I-- just good.
[ he pulls back to smile, to say more when Loki remembers and-- yeah that makes Tony laugh.]
Yeah, yeah I was. So were you. Have called you Starshine from then on actually, but you prefer Lokes.
no subject
[ He curls his long fingers in the hem of Tony's shirt, opting to further blot out the harsh mysteries that await him on the moon and instead indulge in seeking out the heat of Tony's skin, tugging him closer. The dip of his spine is enticing and Loki's hands scale it up and down, over and over, the godling nosing for another kiss. ]
See? You're good for me, Anthony. I daresay I won't need that pizza.
[ This spot here, semi-secluded as it is, is perfectly acceptable. ]

[ it was a haze of glitter and guilt and him still not quite having his footing, but he was forever thankful that Loki lifted the effects of the powder that night. perhaps that little act made him all the more receptive to the god. maybe that was what started all of this. though Tony doesn't dwell on it, not when Loki's hands are on his skin, phone tucked away, and it is clear the godling is seeking another kiss.
Tony doesn't deny him that, laughing as he licks into his mouth, teeth teasing at his bottom lip while his hands move to cup Loki's head.
this is easy and warm, comforting. ]
Mmm, I think you might want the pizza love. At least for energy?
[ there is a light bite to his lips, amusement clear in Tony's eyes as he pulls back.]
no subject
His stomach gurgles loudly, the traitor. ]
... Just a few slices, then.
[ Not before he can press a chaste peck to Tony's cheek and slip an arm through his, wanting to stick closer as they walk this time. His blush remains. ]
So, ah, tell me more about your job on this moon.
[ While Loki wills his body back under control. ]
no subject
again, it strikes him how easy it is like this, to slide an arm through Loki's and walk around like they are as close to normal as one might on this moon.
Tony means to enjoy it while he can because he knows better than most that there was no way it could last. ]
Mmm, just a few. You mean you will eat possibly two of the pizzas and we might have some extras. Maybe.
[ there is a squeeze to the god's torso, a teasing note in Tony's voice. ] My job is much the same as it was before; find ways to make sure everyone is safe. Set up working defenses for the perimeter, make sure we don't have any more monster invasions like we have before. Get bored and create death roomba's to battle the dust mites in my office.
no subject
What kind of monsters were they?
[ As he leans into Tony's side. ]
no subject
Assorted. Perhaps not monsters, more like creatures that are natural to the moon. They were under the city causes issues and-- well they are not always nice towards humans and the like. We needed to get the out, for everyone's sake.
[ there is a hipcheck towards Loki.]
You were pretty upset with my and my plan to eradicate them, didn't go over well with you.
no subject
If this moon was my home then I wouldn't like invaders to exterminate me, either. Couldn't you have simply moved them out?

[ Loki slides his way into a booth, scooting up to make room for Tony on his side of the couches. Absolutely greedy for contact too, Tony isn't the only one. ]
So, who did you date before me?
[ Back to the main topic, evidently. Tony is now Loki's most important person on a moon where he recognises no one, so it follows. ]
no subject
Tony knows how much Loki loves pizza, okay? And this one is basically crust, cheese, and bacon. ]
Ah, here? No one. Back home well... people.
[there is a flicker there, something a little wounded. that was still something he knows needs to be discussed. but not now. ]
no subject
Want me to scare them? I'll put on my scary god-face.
no subject
Uh, no. Not-- not even a little. You don't-- never mind, but you don't need to scare anyone.
no subject
Mm. I wouldn't know how, don't fret. Just kidding, Anthony.
no subject
Tony likes it, but it also unsettles him ever so slightly. ]
I am sure you would figure it out, you are brilliant like that, Starshine. [ he picks a piece of bacon off the slice Loki has with a quirk of a grin and pops it in his mouth. ]
no subject
[ Poking him in the thigh. ]
no subject
[ don't mind him picking at more bacon, okay. this isn't a conversation he wants to have because he isn't even sure that you usually know about him knowing about the others.]
And I will have you know, I am the classiest slum, wow.
no subject
[ It's a hesitant joke, twisting around a bit more so he can offer up another slice of pizza like a consolation prize for the truth. Green eyes, usually canny and plotting, are skittish and hopeful. ]
This one has more bacon.
no subject
[ it is spoken lightly, as he leans in to snag a bit of the pizza. he knows that there is something more to all of this, that Loki is constructing truths from these idle conversations, but Tony doesn't know how much is Loki and how much is lack of memory and--
he wonders if Loki will remember this after it is all over. ]
Wow, you must really like me if you are offering me bacon.
no subject
If I forget even more later, thank you for coming for me. And for this too, all of it.
[ The date, the ... general care. Tony's patience and enduring love despite garnering little more than an earnest crush in return; Loki is sure he deserves better. Not that he knows how things are between them but he can sense this is a good relationship, something that inspires the same safe feeling as sitting by a hearth with a full stomach, inside away from the rain.
(Why does the thought of rain suddenly make him feel sad?) ]
I'm certain I didn't want to lose you the first time around, either.
no subject
though this isn't the time for questions on the nature of beings, he turns the smile to Loki and hums. ]
You are most welcome, Starshine.
[ there is another bite of pizza before he furrows his brows.] What do you mean by that?
no subject
That is a lovely act of kindness which means the world to me.
[ Looking at the pizza without seeing it for the middle-distance, he shakes his head and lays it on Tony's shoulder with a sigh. ]
For a while in that apartment I was afraid nobody would answer. Then when they did it was like hearing about a fairytale character, none of it had substance as if ... as if nobody really knew me. It was worrying. Apparently being an almighty god means you don't open up to many people, even my supposed siblings ...
[ Away from that in a charming little diner with Tony as a responsible alpha figure to trust whole-heartedly, Loki can close his eyes and settle in with a snuggle. ]
But now that you have found me, it bodes well.
no subject
when he speaks his words are muffled, a little choked.]
You have... a lot of trust issues, you know. I don't... you've never told me everything, and I have never asked you but-- there is a reason there are not many people who know you, or this you. But-- I am glad that you're here.
[ with me. on this moon. at this time.
all of the above.]
Wanna take the rest to go? There are two more, but I am sure that you will be able to eat more on the walk back.
no subject
What made me have trust issues?
[ It can't be an automatic 'god of lies' thing, surely, because he trusts Tony just fine. ]
