hey uh
i bet you all get this a lot, but, uh, am i dead? like, straight up dead? is this purgatory?
because i really messed up and think i died and then i woke up in the hospital here and its all really

a lot

and im kind of freaking out

ok yeah i guess i was about to die. and they explained all that but does that mean like, the me back home is dead??? or does that me just not exist anymore??????

(lowkey i still think this might be purgatory. if it was heaven i would have my own room.)

far as I can tell, the you back home probably died. sorry about that. I can't say for sure sure because I'm not like, a scientist, but I figure I was about to die back home too and I'm sure not going back to find out.

anyway, favorite animal: gorilla. because they are chill and calm but can totally bench press a truck.

This isn't purgatory. I'm pretty sure I'm alive. You aren't dead, not here anyway. As for back home, I guess it's hard to say? They say if you go back through the portal, you return to the exact moment you came from. I didn't ask what happens if you never go back.

Favorite animal, though. Dragons are the best, hands down.

as far as I'm aware, you're alive. I don't know about the you, back home. It's possible that if you go back, you'll be in the same situation you just left.

Wouldn't say it's purgatory, either. Mainly because I don't believe in it, so I'd rather not be in it, you know?

Bat-Dragon for a favorite animal. They're loyal, can fly and are good companions. Bats are a close second.

My favourite animals are dolphins. Because of their intelligence and because they always look like they are smiling. [ and he wouldn't ordinarily have added the latter part, but it sounds like perhaps she needs the distraction more than he needs to keep quiet about smiling dolphins. ]

Um... that's a really weird first thought, like the whole moon in another dimension thing is weird, but not dead. Maybe almost dead? Mostly dead?

I dunno, but if you were dead you're not dead now. Even if we were all dead that's a super depressing way to look at all of this. It's better to just think you're alive and work from there.

I've heard your timeline pretty much stops when you show up here. So there isn't really a you back home, I guess.

Never really thought about a favorite animal.

I was shot in the face and died but woke up here so. Kinda both probably? Dead and alive.

Helpful, I know. The at home you is proooobably dead as hell, but this place is pretty great once you get over the 'holy fuck I'm dead but not dead but not a zombie or a Jesus so what the fuck' part of things.

Also, you can get your own place eventually. I was in the guard barracks for a while, not bad, only one roomie at most, but you gotta be a guard to get in there I think.

Also best animal is either a coyote or hyena if you go by Earth animals.
