So, after some rocky couple of months, it looks like we're settling in for a quieter month. I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not complaining. Everyone should take the opportunity to relax a little and have some fun, but please be careful. Keep in mind that things can stop being peaceful and safe pretty fast.

Building on that thought, I'd like to reinforce we are always accepting new members at the Perimeter Guard. Can't have too many of us. Also, if you can pilot ships, shuttles or airplanes, I'm always looking for more members for the aerial unit, more specifically.

If anyone's curiosity is piqued, feel free to drop by and ask for Captain James T. Kirk. I'll be happy to show you around.

The fact that Victor asked her to show him modern dances for Jim and Jim is asking her to show him ancient dances for Victor is simply too adorable. Even if she's still sad that Leonard's gone, she's happy that Jim has found someone like Victor.]

Hey! I can do both, actually. Just... not very knowledgeable when it comes to ballroom dancing. Never had the opportunity to learn, I guess. Or a good reason.

I'm working with the surveyors for now, but I know how to pilot shuttles. If you're in need of a reserve pilot, I can step in when I'm not required elsewhere.

That's perfectly alright. Most everyone on this unit is also a member of another branch at the guard, or even keeps another job elsewhere in the Quarantine. We have a few surveyors in the unit already, so you won't be the only one.

He's a competent fighter and has abilities he shouldn't be keeping to himself. And he's a pretty good scout, too, if he needs to be.]

I've been meaning to ask this. Things have been a bit busy lately.

[That's putting it lightly.]

How far out have you gone?

I've flown all around the moon, but there's still a lot of ground to cover, and I only have the one shuttle. I've landed on a couple of distant places, looked around some, but not much more than that.

I've been thinking about finding someone I could commission for some probes to explore and map out more of the moon without having to go by shuttle. With time, I'm hoping to send in teams and explore various areas of interest by foot.

If you'd like, I've put together thorough reports from every spot of the moon I've visited so far. It's not exactly classified information.

It depends on the branch of the Perimeter Guard, but yes, we do. My unit focuses mainly on aerial survey and exploration, though we also work with other branches of the Guard when they need aerial support for whatever reason— transport, rescue, so on.
